The YENSA Festival’s ATSIA dance and live drum Circle (Open to the AFRICAN Dance Workshop participants only ) embodies community, inclusivity and celebrates diversity. It serves as a vibrant space for cultural exchange and appreciation, warmly welcoming people from all walks of life to dance together in a circle to the heartbeat of the drum. Guided by a leader, the cirle invites participants one at a time to step into the center and dance as their spirit moves them, improvising in response to the rhythm. After a brief solo, they return to the circle, and the leader welcomes another dancer into the center. Wear comfortable clothes to dance in. 

YENKA (Let’s Talk) Social, is our signature festival closing social, open to all,  where meaningful conversations flourish and connections deepen. It is an opportunity to meet the YENSA Festival featured artists and immerse yourself in engaging discussions that spark inspiration and forge new connections.
